The name of this quilt "Venti di Libertà" "Freedom Winds" has been inspired by the fabrics and the pattern that I have used.
Libertà=Freedom=Liberty ... Liberty of London!! What else make think of spring more than the wonderful Liberty prints; they are a classic yet always new, fresh and vibrant.
The fabric have been used in a pattern called Pinwheels, which of course make me think of windmills, hence the "wind" part of the quilt name!!
